Colossians is a short, powerful, Christ-centered book. A book that always impacted me for its practicality, its depth and its theology.
It is a masterpiece of balance: Chapters 1 and 2 are doctrinal and present Jesus Christ as the preeminent Creator, Savior, and Lord.
Chapters 3 and 4 are practical and show how the believer works out the preeminence of Christ in daily living. The Book of Colossians is a polemic epistle. That is, it argues for truth A much-needed commodity in Colosse, a city invaded by untruths and subjective theology. A much needed truth for today, for you and me.
