Weekly Ministries

Children’s Ministry

Sunday - Available during both the English (1:30pm) and French (4pm) services

Our Sunday School teaching is inspired by the Generations of Grace curriculum which is a biblically based study designed specifically for children ages 3 to 10.

Each week, we walk through an age appropriate lesson plan, considering questions related to the scriptures while developing our friendships. The desire of our Sunday School is to see the seed of the gospel planted in the hearts of our Calvary kids.

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.” — 3 John 4

Dialogue - Bible Study

At Dialogue, we dare to ask real and challenging questions relevant to our faith. By exchanging ideas we grow to have a reasonable, applicable and defensible worldview that ultimately deepens our spiritual convictions. Answers emerge as we dialogue together, challenging one another to take ultimate cues from God's manual for living: The Bible.

English Dialogue
Currently on pause

French Dialogue
Tuesday - 7 pm - At a different home each week

Disarm the Dark

Ongoing, with periodic offerings of the Disarm 7 week class

Disarm the Dark is a Montreal-based anti-trafficking initiative focused on the prevention of trafficking in persons through the mobilization of a comprehensive, evidence-based and community-sustained approach to human trafficking. As a ministry of Calvary Chapel Montreal Regeneration church, we are wholly committed to keeping the reconciling humility of Jesus Christ and the full counsel of scripture – central to our pursuit of justice.

Evangelism

Friday - 5:30 pm - Atwater Metro

Our evangelism team, led by seasoned and called evangelists go out each week — steeped in prayer — to share the gospel at our local metro station.

Using a well-thought-out questionnaire that promotes deep conversations about the meaning of life — our team endeavours to listen to the spiritual concerns of others , to present the gospel with power as to promote the hope of Jesus Christ.

If you are curious about evangelism but don’t feel quite ready to share the gospel with strangers — please feel free to show up and just pray for the conversations that are happening.

Nameless

Last Friday of each month - Rotates homes

As the sister ministry to Disarm the Dark, Nameless is a space for women to discuss the complexities of inhabiting an unjust world in a holy manner — letting our worldview be shaped first by God’s perspective as it is presented in scripture — and aiming to practically serve first our local church and our greater Montreal community.

Prayer

Wednesday - 7 pm - Church office & online

A time of focused prayer following the example set by Christ in Matthew 6:9 as the Lord’s prayer. Words of praise and adoration are firstly offered to our Lord and Saviour, followed by sentiments that specifically articulate our needs.

Prayer requests can be written down and dropped in the black box on Sunday or sent via email to prayer@calvarymontreal.com.
